Pecora Health is a Sunshine Coast–based independent occupational therapy provider supporting individuals across the NDIS, My Aged Care, DVA, and private sectors.

Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA)
Comprehensive assessments that evaluate an individual’s functional abilities across daily activities, including self-care, mobility, communication, and social participation. We provide clear, evidence-based reports with practical recommendations to support NDIS planning and the participant's goals.
My Aged Care occupational therapy assessments
Detailed assessments focused on safety, independence, and functional capacity within the home and community. We provide tailored recommendations to support ageing in place, including home modifications, equipment, and strategies to enhance daily living.
Assistive technology & equipment assessment and prescription
Assessment and prescription of assistive technology and equipment to improve safety, independence, and quality of life. We provide practical, clinically justified recommendations, liaising with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure appropriate selection, trials, and implementation.
Home modification assessments and recommendations
Comprehensive assessments of the home environment to identify barriers to safety and independence. We provide practical, tailored recommendations for modifications, working alongside builders and suppliers to support safe, functional, and accessible living spaces.
Clinical reporting and professional recommendations
Clear, evidence-based reports that support informed decision-making across NDIS, My Aged Care, and other funding bodies. Our reporting is thorough, objective, and focused on delivering practical recommendations that align with individual needs and real-world outcomes.

We aim to offer appointments as soon as possible and will provide an estimated timeframe when you enquire.
Yes, we provide mobile services and complete assessments in your home or relevant environment. In fact, this is how preferred method of service as we are able to observe you in your typical physical and social environments.
After a referral has been submitted one of our friendly therapists will be in contact with you. You will receive a confirmation email that the referral has been received and will then be required to complete a Pecora Health Acknowledgement of Consent form.
Once the Acknowledgement of Consent form has been signed and returned to info@pecora.com.au an initial assessment will be promptly organised with the client.

A Functional Capacity Assessment or My Aged Care assessment is designed to provide a clinical, objective overview of your current abilities, needs, and goals at a specific point in time. The report includes evidence-based recommendations to support improved safety, independence, and participation in daily life.
Final decisions regarding funding and approval are made by the relevant body (such as the NDIS or My Aged Care) and are subject to their policies, eligibility criteria, and available funding.
Home modifications are carried out by a qualified and licensed builder, not the occupational therapist.
The role of the occupational therapist is to assess your functional needs and how you interact with your environment. Based on this, they provide clinical recommendations which may involve changes to the physical environment to improve safety, access, and independence.
If modifications are required, a scope of works is developed, and a licensed builder is engaged to complete the work. The occupational therapist, builder, and client then work collaboratively—liaising throughout the process to ensure the modifications are practical, appropriate, and achieve the best possible outcome.
We take privacy and confidentiality seriously. Any information submitted through our online referral form is securely stored and used only for the purpose of providing occupational therapy services and managing your enquiry or referral.
Your information will only be accessed by relevant team members and, where required, may be shared with other involved professionals (e.g. support coordinators or healthcare providers) with your consent or as required by law.
